MEET DAMMY

Behind the keyboard is me – Ozioma, but I want to introduce you to someone important and special to the web.

Meet Dammy – my literary persona, or ‘muse’. The girl who lives out all the Tales by Vitae.

Dammy isn’t just a character – she’s the girl who lives inside every story I tell. She laughs too loud sometimes, worries about the little things, gets confused as much, and cries a whole lot because she believes it clears her eye.

She thinks, overthinks and questions every move to grows on behalf of us all.

Most importantly, Dammy is a lover of God, though she struggles to stay committed.

She’s the one who feels what many of us feels but can’t say because she’s afraid she will be misunderstood, afraid that she will be laughed at and afraid that people won’t really relate to it. You’ll read about her struggles with faith, friends, family, love and identity.

Dammy is a mirror of human struggles, faith, friendship and growth.

She is that girl next door, the sister, the friend, the version of you that still believes that life can be beautiful – even in a mess. Through Dammy’s eyes, you’ll meet joy and heartbreak, rants and confusions, weaknesses and clarity, corrections and humanity. She’s not perfect, but she’s real enough to feel like a friend.

In every tale I (ozioma) write, look for her – because in some way, we are all a little like Dammy.
