I was told countless times to do something that would help polish my CV, and honestly, I agree.

Remember when everyone said, “Build your CV; job opportunities will come”? While 98.5% of people knows what a CV is, to the remaining 1.5%, it means course of life – your journey in education, skills, work, and everything you’ve engaged with while breathing. It’s how the things you’ve done shape the things you’ll do next.

What is Vitae (vee-tay)? Simply put – Life!

Vitaetales then, are the stories in/of life: sweet, bitter, interesting, educative, relatable, lovely, spiritual…name it. Even in the flatness of life, a little painting can make things warm. There have been times I wished someone could understand how I felt about certain situations – even if I was wrong. I’m among the 5% who thinks my life is boring, but a small honest telling can make it feel like something worth reading.

Why Vitaetales? Even I find it quite interesting the way the name Vitae came, so, here’s the tale behind it.

It was in 2023, after the morning prayers with my family, the topic was rather interesting, “vita! vita!! vita!!!” (sadly, I don’t have the copy of the devotional with me).

I went back to bed, woke up, grabbed the devotional, and started studying the topic, again. That wasn’t the first time I heard the word, vita, but for some reasons, it spoke to me that day. The meaning stayed. I decided to build around it.

I started sharing on social media in 2024, and now, we have a tiny web space where we don’t rush. Here, we process thoughts, write down mistakes and gentle musings with honest convos!

For weird reasons, I am glad.
